Native American Faculty and Staff Council's Mission
The mission of the Native American Faculty and Staff Council (NAFSC) at Sacramento State is to support the success of Native faculty, staff and students at the university in alignment with its larger goal of ensuring a welcoming and inclusive community.
NAFSC advocates for effective efforts, programs and policies to promote and strengthen an understanding of Native American issues within the University and the larger Sacramento region.
On campus the NAFSC works with Native students to promote leadership and educational success. Off campus the NAFSC works with Native community leaders and organizations to facilities and strengthen connections and collaborations between the University and Native communities in the region.
